New Paradigm is a psychological practice that focuses in forensic psychology with a current specialization in dealing with populations that have committed sexual offenses or have sexual problems.
We offer full psychosexual assessments with the most up to date, scientifically validated instruments and techniques used within the field. We also offer:

Members of New Paradigm have been formally trained in generally accepted and widely used tools for assessing sexual and violent recidivism. The majority of these trainings were provided by the actual developers of the tests in question.
New Paradigm also conducts research and provides advocacy in this area. The treatment program is based in Albany, NY and the surrounding areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Montgomery Counties. All other services listed above are available throughout New York State.
New Paradigm’s members are New York State Licensed Psychologists and members of the American Psychological Association. We are also Clinical Members of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and have worked for many years in the evaluation and treatment of sexual offenders. All members belong to the National and State Chapters of ATSA. One member is on the Board of Directors of New York State ATSA as well as the New York State Alliance of Sex Offender Service Providers.
